Practice ProfilePhilip Dadds Architects was formed in May 2000 as a progression from Page and Dadds Architects (1994-2000) and The Russell Dadds Page Partnership (1988-1994). Philip Dadds has been in practice since 1984 having formerly spent six years working for London practices. The practice is now well established as one of East Kent’s largest and most progressive. With the wide, varied experience within our team, we aim to continue to offer a professional, comprehensive and efficient service to our increasing client base. PremisesWe operate in Thanet between Ramsgate and Broadstairs, on the North East Kent coast, from unique Grade II Listed premises. These premises, which we converted from a former stable block courtyard, once served a country mansion set within the grounds of King George VI Memorial Park. We occupy approximately 2500 sq ft of accommodation comprising three design studios, reception, meeting room, and exhibition / seminar room with ancillary facilities.
We have full AutoCAD computer facilities, networked throughout our offices and linked to plan plotters, colour printers, plan printers, e-mail and internet facilities. Schemes are produced by both hand drawing and on AutoCAD, often with these resources being combined. Current WorkloadThe practice workload has more than doubled in the past six years since we have occupied our new office premises. Current Project Types
Project ValueIn terms of the construction costs the value of individual projects varies from £10,000 to £10 million. The total office workload is currently between £60 - 70 million (construction value). Professional Indemnity Insurance
